What’s the different in the two options on the home screen?
The “Book instantly” option allows you to book straight away without a quote. If you require a quote, you can submit picture(s) or a video by pressing the green start icon. The Kwik Sweep team will then contact you as soon as possible with a quote for the job.
What does the Kwik Sweep service include?
We do all the hard work for you, including loading, lifting and clearing, so you can relax.
Why use the Kwik Sweep service, instead of a skip?
Our friendly uniformed team will do all the loading for you and you will only be charged for the proportion of our truck which your junk fills. If you choose to hire a skip, you have to pay for the entire volume of the skip, regardless of how much you fill. You may also have to pay for an expensive permit and do all the loading yourself.
How do you charge?
In general we charge by volume (how much of our truck is taken up with your junk – see price list in the menu as a guide). However if your material is particularly heavy (eg. rubble or concrete) we charge based on weight. We also charge extra for hazardous waste, such as fridges and TV.
How big are your trucks?
The container at the back of each our trucks is 15 cubic yards. This is roughly equivalent to 2 standard builders’ skips (which are 6 or 8 cubic yards).
What is a cubic yard?
A cubic yard is three feet high by three feet wide by three feet deep.
What do you do with the junk?
We try to recycle or reuse as much as possible. Where those options are not possible, we take waste to licensed Waste Transfer Stations where it is sorted and disposed of in an environmental friendly manner.
